Rebe Reads: Astrology

Welcome back to another collection of my favorite books!

These books have dramatically informed my understanding of and ability to work with Astrology to understand myself and the world around me.

The Inner Sky, by Steven Forrest, is THE starter book for anyone wanting to learn more about astrology.

Lunar Abundance, by Ezzie Spencer, PhD. This was one of my first books in the whole metaphysical space - even before I got into crystals! A great resource if you're wanting to connect deeply with the cycles of the moon and how she influences us here.

The Twelve Houses, by Howard Sasportas. Depending on where you are in your knowledge of astrology, you may not realize that not only is your birth chart divided by the signs of the zodiac, but it's also divided up into 12 houses. The houses are the area of your life where the planets exert their influence. This book is a helpful exploration of these areas, providing not only an easy to digest education on the topic, but also a valuable reference to keep in your library.

The Chiron Effect: Healing Our Core Wounds through Astrology, Empathy, and Self-Forgiveness, by Lisa Tahir. Much of the deep healing work I've done over the past few years has been fueled by Chiron's transit across my natal Ascendant. This asteroid has opened up portals to my past where I've been able to resolve traumas that have plagued me for 40+ years. Chiron work is messy, but pivotal. Start here if you feel called to inner child or reparenting work.

Astrology: A Cosmic Science, by Isabel Hickey. To be honest, this book has been thumbed through, but I haven't quite sat down to read it yet. That said, reading through the reviews again, I feel like I should bump it up! LOL This books applies astrology to spirituality and your understanding of your personality and how and why you show up in the world the way you do.
