I am a trauma-informed, Parent Advocacy Coach, Breathwork Facilitator, Reiki Master, and meditation teacher, specializing in helping parents of children with special needs advocate for their children effectively.
I leverage these certifications with my life experiences as a special needs parent and my background as both an officer in the Air Force and a corporate contracts negotiator to help my clients live in alignment with who they want to be, no matter what challenges they face.
Through my private and group work, courses, workshops, and podcast, I utilize all of my skill, knowledge, and wisdom to guide clients through navigating their own nervous systems so they can be steady and grounded while working with their child's educational and medical teams.
I simply light lanterns on the dark path as I travel my own parenting and healing journey, so you can find your way as you tap into your own inner guidance system.
I believe in science AND spirit.
I encourage play, experimentation, flexibility, and simplicity in all aspects I teach. But I'm only ever trying to guide you back to your own truth.
I will give you choices and tell you what's worked for me, but I don't believe in hard and fast rules around spirituality.
If anyone ever places rules or themselves between you and what they're calling the "Truth" - run.
I am an ally to the trans, queer, and kink communities.
I believe that racism is real, has negatively impacted all non-white peoples, and am doing my own work to learn, dismantle my internalized racism, and foster change to even the playing field.
It is important to me for my courses, groups, and community to be welcoming spaces where we all assume good intentions, but seek to know better so we can do better. Spaces where we apologize and learn from our mistakes. Where people are able to be themselves and we don't yuck anyone else's yum.

This is us. Mizzou fans because my husband and I met there in 2000 in the Air Force ROTC program. His grin stole my heart from the very first moment I saw him. We both served on Active Duty and lived all over the country before finally finding our way back to Missouri.
We have 2 teenage sons who keep us busy - especially during wrestling and lacrosse seasons. Our lazy lab, Ruby, is the captain of our welcoming committee and rounds out our family perfectly.
